End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and

By using our website https://www.yourdomain.com (the “Site”), purchasing or subscribing to any security cameras, alarm systems, monitoring services, or by connecting your QuickBooks Online account to our services, you agree to be bound by this EULA.

1. Grant of Limited License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our Site and services solely for your internal business purposes or personal security needs in accordance with this EULA.

2. QuickBooks Online (QBO) Integration

  • Our Site uses the Intuit QuickBooks Online API to create invoices, process payments, sync customer data, and manage accounting on your behalf.
  • When you connect your QuickBooks Online company, you explicitly authorize us (via OAuth 2.0) to:
    • Read and write data such as customers, invoices, payments, items, and reports.
    • Create and send invoices related to security system purchases, installations, and monitoring subscriptions.
    • Retrieve payment information (tokenized only — we never store full credit card numbers).
  • This authorization is governed by Intuit’s Terms of Service and our role as an authorized Intuit QuickBooks Solution Provider.

4. Data Security

  • All financial data transmitted to/from QuickBooks is encrypted with TLS 1.2+.
  • We are PCI-DSS compliant through our payment processor.
  • Canadian customer data is stored in Canada or in compliance with PIPEDA.

5. Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your QuickBooks and Site login credentials.
  • You must disconnect our app from QuickBooks Online immediately if you stop using our services (you can do this from within QuickBooks → Apps → Manage Connections).

6. Termination & Data Deletion

You may terminate this EULA at any time by ceasing use of the Site and disconnecting our app in QuickBooks. Upon termination, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES arising out of your use of the QuickBooks integration or our services.

This EULA is governed by the laws of the Province of [Your Province] and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
